The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe has been spotted testing in India for the first time. The model is currently undergoing emission testing ahead of its launch that could take place in the next few months. Upon launch, the model will rival the Audi A3 and the Mercedes-Benz A-Class limousine.
The India-spec BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe is expected to be offered with two powertrain options including 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines. The former is likely to produce 189bhp and 280Nm of torque while the latter could produce 187bhp and 400Nm of torque. These engines might come paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Exterior highlights of the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe include an M Sport kit, sweptback headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, signature twin kidney grille and twin four spoke alloy wheels. The M Sport kit includes a sportier front bumper, larger air intakes, twin exhausts and side skirts.
Inside, the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe is expected to receive features in the form of a new iDrive system, leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control and a fully digital instrument cluster.
